Last Tuesday we had the amazing opportunity to watch a short film @tinpantheater about the difficulties and hardships of being a medevac pilot durning the Vietnam war. Our guest speaker Mr. Arthur Witten shared his personal experiences of being a Vietnam medevac “dust off pilot”.
We also were able to raffle off away a @sportyspilotshop flight bag as well as some give away some @epic_aircraft merch! Thanks to everyone who attended and supported this event!
The Chinook has been used for many heavy lift and transport operations around the globe, and luckily for central Oregon we do have a cool neighbor that pops up every now and then.
The 160th Battalion has showed in honor of Robert D. Maxwell, a former COCC resident and a teacher. He is an advocate for veteran students as well.
