Circa 2022, the first song that i was introduced to was “amerta” and when i heard it for the first time, i was hooked in seconds. A blend of pop/dangdut that is (well, for me at least) weird yet somehow manages to make this default of a brain of me that dislikes the genre “dangdut” to like “said” genre. It was mesmerizing.
Long story short, we became quite close and we talked about lots of stuff (obviously about music) but, when i go home and when i listen to his music, i sort of having this imaginary thing that i am on the stage with him and i play the guitar for him. When Allah finds a way, dreams are no longer a mere illusion.
It is truly an honor to play the guitar for him.
