They do indeed love to play with each other, and the booth always knows. 🎧 @_puttheminthelocker (aka little haram) founded Diaries with his friends in 2021 when he decided Yerevan needed a princess party. By day he does comms with a wink, and by night he’s deep into learning, education, and AI. It’s his first set in almost a year, post-birthday glow and all, so consider it a soft see-you-later. 🎧 @fluctt__ is a business baddie by day and a bigger one by night. He’s the co-founder of @cyberfolkhub . They teach DJing and music production online and IRL and keep tabs on some very hush-hush AI-meets-music experiments. As a team member who worked directly on @asliceofficial , I want to share my thoughts on its closure. First, I want to thank @dvs1hush for his vision. Aslice was a simple yet powerful solution to one of the music industry's major issues: fair recognition for producers. Being part of the team, I saw the dedication and effort that went into building a platform where DJs and producers could connect and collaborate fairly. The payment system we developed to enable fair compensation was just the start. We believed Aslice had the potential to reshape the industry. It's surprising to see some in the industry forget their roots and the community that supports them. Many "big DJs" either chose not to support Aslice or falsely claimed they were using it. While it's sad to see Aslice close, I believe it succeeded in sparking crucial conversations about the challenges in our industry. The awareness it created will resonate and, hopefully, lead to real change. Finally, I want to express my appreciation for Zak. Working alongside him taught me so much—not only as a team member but also as a friend and leader. His vision has been truly inspiring.
