Here are some of the guidelines for using the outdoor spaces that are implemented to help keep the spaces a happy, peaceful place for everyone. The outdoor spaces are officially open! Ribbon-cutting ceremonies took place this afternoon. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our fantastic community of supporters who cherish the Florence-Lauderdale Public Library and are our champions for its future and continued success. Dr. Carrie Crawford, Assistant Professor of History at the University of North Alabama, introduced her women's history class to the resources in the library's Local History and Genealogy Department. Our Local History and Genealogy Associate Lee Freeman took the class on a quick tour of the department before Dr. Crawford led the class in its research project. We are always happy to share resources with UNA and welcome faculty, students and staff any time!
