I believe endurance events teach some of the most important lessons.
One is to have an ambitious goal in place, an effective plan set and hold yourself or be held to it.
You pay the money, you commit to the date and youâll get completely shown up if you donât do the work.
Too many of us think we are something without actually being something - this process really forces you to become.
Two is trusting the process and pushing through when things hurt.
People love to start things and stop as soon as there is any difficulty.
But in endurance events, in the training and the race, you just have to tell yourself you wonât stop and then grin and bear it.
It will be boring, it will hurt (I look like Iâm having a grand time), it will confuse others who canât/ wonât do it but it all becomes worth it on completion.

âI donât have timeâ is the biggest excuse I hear for not working out.

Introducing super mum đŠž
Sofia is a doctor, the mum of two girls and came to me 4 months ago not seeing the changes she wanted:
âHaving gone through two pregnancies, I know what itâs like to see your body change completely and coming back from that is a whole different journey.
Finding the time to train when you have kids is harder, your body doesnât respond the same way it used to, and progress can feel slow.â

âI have been working with Gabriel for the past five (now 8) months, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing.

This client, an actor, wanted to transform his physique and confidence to help him give his best to the new opportunities that were coming through.
