Spent the whole weekend recording with my band
@secretgrief ! It’s been 4 years since the last time we got together and recorded something. On top it being a joy to record, produce, and collab on these songs, it was great hanging out with my old friends/emo elders/music daddies. And selfishly it rocked being able to spend a whole day recording my own guitar parts. I still got it babyyyyyy!
During the sessions I tried out a bunch of stuff I usually don’t touch often at the studio as an experiment and it went quite well! Used a ton of tube preamps, a lot more ribbon mics, and some lav mics! Stoked to mix this batch of songs when the time comes. Truth be told, I still have to finish mixing our last batch of songs because life got crazy busy. But soon enough new music that I helped write and produce is gonna come out!
