What a fight after beeing sick for over 2 months in my training phase, only one 25k before the race which went pretty bad, and short nights bc of work before the race.
Almost didn’t start because I felt so bad in the morning - and after 7k I still thought I wouldn’t even get a halfmarathon.
Somehow my head pushed me through the race and I still was able to pick up my pace.
Last 15k have been a fight, I only ran this with my mind. Right after finishing I went to the emergency room because of significant blood in my stool and suspected internal bleeding.
I’m glad everything turned out okay, but this should not be an example of how far you should push your limits.
