We are EXCITED because this piece makes the eyes dance like no other. Moving forward, I’m really going to put forth a lot of effort to create pieces that make your eyes truly happy. I want you to look at the flowers and be so happy and let your eyes move in an effortless but magical kind of way. These pieces take ALOT of different types of pressed flowers to create the desired movement and color. Wouldn’t want it any other way. At one point, in the piece, my eyes saw a large snail. What do your eyes see? Everyone interprets things differently but mostly I just see a really beautiful, really colorful, flowy, pressed flower art piece. It allows me to see different things each time I look at it. And because of this, I love it so much. I don’t like being stagnant in life so I think this is why I like this style so much. If I made a much longer video, say 3-10 minutes, would you watch that? This will be available in our mid Summer print release. Still working on size and print options but so excited. If you want to see what we are releasing, please join our mailing list on our website. Thanks so much. #wildflowers #flowerpressing #pressingflowers #pressedflowers #pressedbotanicals #wildflowerart #flowerart #customartwork #preservedflowers #driedflowers #floraldesign #flowerpreservation #flowerpressproject #pressedflowerdesign #flowerpressstudio_ #slowart #flowerdesign #floralprint #happyflowers

Fleabane, sainfoin, dandelion seeds that the finches love to eat, elm, desert madwort, skunk-bush sumac, aka “nature’s sour patch kids”, yellow rose, wild blue flax, cows and calves, field + meadow, yard view from where I want to build an accessory structure, but probably won’t + home view of where the old mulch pile was and where the new mulch to be moved, is.

New print design is now on our website. The link to it is in the bio, called Herb Garden. Details of this release: 28 x 35 inch // 71cm x 89cm (limited edition of 65), available until sold out This is the same size as the original artwork and is hand-embossed. 16 x 20 inch // 41cm x 51cm (open edition), ends May 4th We began collecting herbs back in 2023 and 3 years later, are very happy to have it out in the world. Herbs are pretty amazing for so many reasons. They not only taste delicious, but are used for healing as well as a super amazing natural bug repellent for bad insects so they stay out of your flowers and veggies and don’t nest in them. Love the herbs. Fun fact: I really liked listening to Enya back in high school. I would listen to her before bed as her music would help me fall sleep. 😴🙂 #flowerprint #flowerpress #herbgarden #floralprint #flowerpreservation

2.5 years later, “Herb Garden” is complete and I will be releasing a small print batch in April. In the bio, there is a link to join the “Herb Garden” release party. There is a pretty lengthy story that I look forward to sharing in our newsletter on how this even got started, but it ended in a way that was perfect to me. The short version was that it was to be a collaboration piece, but due to us being a bit unorganized and not labeling properly, the collaboration fizzled. That’s not to say it may never happen, but a break happened. Anyways, we collected and collected, moved across the state, I started to dry design with these and then scraped it all and put all the flowers away to start at a later time when things felt better. And in 2025 and early 2026, things felt better. I have attempted to design when my mind and body were rejecting creativity and things always feel like mud. It is amazing though when you feel good, it feels like you are unstoppable. This is what came out of me when I felt really good and I love it. Herbs are awesome. Don’t forget to join our newsletter to be notified of the release and read the full version of our story. And don’t forget to start your own herb garden. They offer so many benefits to not only your body, but to many significant insects. Thank you Keith & Rachel #pressedflowers #pressedherbs #herbalistlife #herbsgarden #herblife

Two years ago, I told myself I wanted to explore other creative avenues with our designs and do things I could not do alone. I wanted to work with select companies to make some ideas come to fruition instead of my usual waffling back and forth, trying to decide what to actually do. Almost a year ago, @rhinoshield had contacted us about licensing some past and present designs for Iphone and Android cases. So I took some time and researched who they were. The company has strong environmental policies and material science initiatives that range from cleaning the ocean, to becoming plastic neutral, to “growing” plant-based materials to replace petroleum-based plastics. I can, of course, get behind all of these. If you would like to read up on their sustainability practices, please visit their main site and go to their “about us” tab. https://rhinoshield.io/about-us In the end, we agreed and moved forward with some vector designs and colorful designs that fit on iPhone models 15-17 and a couple of Samsung models. In my bio, you will see a link to these cases. So 2026 is going to be the year that is about chance, design experimentation, new ideas, and just feeling good about breaking out of my shell. I felt incredibly good about the design layouts I did with these. Rach is usually the eye with product design but she has been prepping the gardens. I was timid at first but then when I realized it was basically designing with flowers, I knew I was in my comfort zone. Thank you everyone for reading. As always, feel free to reach out in the comments about anything pressed flower related. :) Keith #phonecasedesign #phonecase #floraldesign #floraldesigns flowerdesign

2026 is going to be a year of new announcements. 2 years ago, we were contacted by @hachetteus with an idea to produce a wrapping paper book. We always envisioned doing a book or some kind and a wrapping paper book sounded fun. So we said yes. Entering new ideas and projects is very new to us. Just like anything new, it creates feelings of excitement, nervousness, some anxiety, and fear. It hits all of these. Think about the last time you did something that was not in your comfort zone. What did you feel? 2026 though is the year of making uncomfortable feelings, somewhat comfortable. Wrapping paper has always been a thing of nostalgia for me. It brings back all the wonderful memories I had as a child receiving gifts at Christmas or watching my friends open their gifts on birthdays. The sound of paper crinkling and the smiles it gives both children and adults as we watch them either tear through the paper like a wild tornado or the ones that unfold the paper so neatly making sure there are no rips and folding it back up to use another day. It’s simply a nice experience to watch it all unfold. Each design is from past works with a few that we have not ever released. Preorders are done through our site where you can access specific links based on your geographic location. And there is a link in our bio, called Beautiful Blooms Wrapping Paper Book to get you there. Thank you all. We hope you have a wonderful day. ~Keith and Rachel What kind of gift wrapper are you?

This post is a compilation of beauty, some realizations, and some near future things. Writing, creating cohesive thoughts, and decision making is something I routinely struggle with. I enjoy writing our newsletters though, although that takes some time as well. All good things take some time to form. I do hope to share a bit more soon, but in the meantime… Slide 1: Fall of 2024, leaf collecting commenced. WIP. Slide 2: Choices and indecision (the lifelong struggle) Slide 3: a pressed poppy and words around community. Slide 4: an explosion of plants from a raised bed of followed by words of frustration. Slide 5: I played football in high school so yeah, I watched Friday Night Lights, haha, and the quote the coach says before each game is pretty great, cheesy, but great. Slide 6: Winter’s Mood, most likely our next release. Please join our newsletter in our bio to be notified. Slide 7: our very talented friend in Australia @hello.chelsart sent us a gift. Slide 8: a beautiful turkey 🦃 and why we like them hanging around (they are hilarious as well) Slide 9: Vector art we hope to do something with as I loveeeeeeee it. It’s so cool. And that concludes this post. Oh and I will be posting about a resource soon. In the meantime, shop small and support your local businesses, and get to know their story. 🙂 ~Keith

Throw back Friday. 🙂 It’s sort of fun and fulfilling looking back at your old creative works. Everyone starts somewhere, and that path will eventually lead you to somewhere else. Perhaps it leads you to a new creative endeavor, and sometimes it leads you to continue the path of making mistakes to get better. Anyways, it’s just fun seeing where you come from. I mean, it holds true for everything. Whether you are a farmer, a video game enthusiast, a florist, a engineer, a waiter, a chef, a mother or father, whatever; it is fun to look back and be proud of your early learnings. So yeah, who here is pretty darn proud of their early selves?
