Karli & Magner, 3.29.25
When my friend Karli asked me to do her wedding flowers and told me to have fun, I did just that.
Karliâs connection with an orchid grower meant phalaenopsis orchids were pouring out of everything, and I was able to add some locally grown flowers from a friendâs garden (and my own) for a special touch.
A little rain couldnât stop Karli from smiling, and her love of Magner and Jesus shone through the whole event. Thanks for asking me to be a part of your day.

Our first look from this spring editorial at Naples Botanical, featuring the dreamiest all-white hyacinth bouquet by Flower and Funk paired with vintage lace and a classic ball gown silhouette. Everything about this set felt soft, timeless, and a little inspired by old-world romance.

Carrieâs team and I worked hand-in-hand to create the color palette and theme, source antiques, and styling for this special event. It was an honor to work with such talented creatives on this design and truly one of my favorite projects to date!

Make a hyacinth bridal bouquet with me đȘ»
For a styled shoot at my favorite place, @naplesbotanical shot by @millersphotoandfilm and starring @addicampbelll đ«¶đŒ
Hyacinth chains are all the rage right now, and this is my slightly more organic take on the viral trend.
I started by stripping about eight open hyacinths of their florets and put them in my hydration tupperware overnight (a method I learned from @passionflowersue to keep the florets hydrated).
I used thin and flexible wire to string the florets at various lengths, then a rigid wire to enforce my hyacinth flowers to created a simple bouquet structure. I then added the wires of my strung florets, weaving them though the existing flowers to create a more organic look.
One thing that was important to me when making this bouquet is for it to look like it could all be one flower; I really wanted the strung parts to be cohesive with the rest of the bouquet, so you couldnât see where the flowers ended and the wires florets began.
I artistically twisted the strung wire into rings, then finished the bouquet with floral tape and authentic vintage lace ribbon.
This is a prime example of why you hire a florist for your wedding day: thoughtful mechanics and thoughtful preparation were key to making this bouquet.
