Loved these flowers - a wonderful meadow like design that was created by @michelefordfloraldesign for a wedding last weekend and donated to us to create bedside arrangements for the patients at ARK Healthcare & Rehabilitation at St. Camillus in Stamford. They added so much cheer and brightened the day of everyone, including our volunteers who gladly delivered them.
Loved this Spring color combination - peach, blue and green. Thanks to the Rhein family for donating these beautifully created florals designed by @studio_blush for Laura and John's wedding reception last weekend. It's PEONY season! And, aren't these so cheerful looking? So grateful for this wonderful donation from @arugulatango who donated them to us to use in our bedside arrangements just in time for 'National Nursing Home Week' whose 2026 theme was 'moments in bloom'. They certainly brighten up 3 different nursing homes in the area with bedside arrangements for patients and desk arrangements for the reception areas. photos by @elloyd12
Our annual collaboration, FOOD RESCUE US + FLOWER AGAIN = 2 organizations whose missions are keeping produce out of landfills. Flower Again was delighted to pick up flowers from the Food Rescue US Gala and repurpose them in time for Mother's Day. This year our two organizations together supplied bedside arrangements to 2 women's shelters and 2 low-income senior living facilities who were honoring mothers. They welcomed them wholeheartedly! The cheerful floral colors, designed by @ruthridgeway were a huge hit. Thank you to all involved.

Nothing says SPRING like tulips! We can't thank @colorblends enough for donating tulips bulbs months ago for us to plant. We've been amazed at their color, beauty and variety as we have been harvesting them recently to use in our weekly bedside arrangements. The 'before' & 'after' arrangements made from 2 beautiful floral donations. ❤️A big 'Congratulations' to Caitlin & Will on their marriage last weekend, after which they donated their wedding flowers, designed by Karen Legan/Lemon Dahlias to us to repurppose. We added tulips donated by Colorblends Flower Wholesaler in Bridgeport. Such a wonderful honor to be 1 of 3 organizations recognized for outstanding support of ELDERHOUSE ADULT DAY CENTER in Norwalk at their gala last week. We had a festive time at the Maritime Aquarium and helped raise money for expenses associated with the care for older adults and their family caregivers & a new garden at the center. Our joy comes from delivering floral centerpieces for their activity room throughout the year!
WE ARE BACK to repurposing event flowers for 2026!🎉 We begin this season with a BIG thank you to the Salomon family who kindly donated the flowers from Gabi & Nathan's wedding. These beautifully designed florals by @ruthridgewaydesigns were turned into 100 bedside arrangements for the residents at Civita Nursing Home Care in Stamford. They were absolutely thrilled! After a long winter⛄, we are prepping for our next season of repurposing flowers in the Flower Again barn. We began with floral workshops for our volunteers where we learned about color theory and composition elements of a cohesive flower arrangement. It was delightful to gather in small groups once again, but at a slower pace with more intention. Thank you to Holly & Jill for organizing.....Can't wait to get back to repurposing & recycling... 🌷🌷🌷
We were SO delighted to accept an award for OUTSTANDING GROUP by the New Canaan Community Foundation recently. We were recognized for our work of delivering flowers & visiting with folks who could use an unexpected gift of cheer....those in nursing homes, hospice care or seniors living in independent facilities. We were very honored to be acknowledged for our work in New Canaan & throughout Fairfield County...inspiring us as we prepare to kick-off our next season of repurposing flowers for 2026.👏👏👏 @newcanaancommunityfdn
