Although our favorite breakfast spot has a for sale sign & hasn't been open since it went up. We made due with Rudy's Can't Fail Cafe. Go find the stickers I left.
Haven't been very active lately, been having severe lower back pain, and standing for any length of time is excruciating, no less carrying hella paint. So I have been WAAAAY overdue, as I haven't painted since August. @_ottra_vez & @mrtheycallmeradio & me with fall/Thanksgiving themed pieces. Also reclaimed my spot back from 2019. Nice to be back on this wall again.

My piece for the @us4us.bayarea fundraiser show, hosted by @rickyratcomix . It's my 1st show, and you know I almost didn't do this because I was so scared. But I had to tell myself I needed to do this BECAUSE I was scared. I'm super grateful for the opportunity to support a good cause and to be showcased with so many amazing artists! I can't thank Ricky enough! I also want to thank everyone who has liked seeing all the progress on my stories. Your little heart responses really helped keep me going. All my friends who I consulted, who helped me with various ideas and concepts and techniques, I can't thank you guys enough. Hope to see you 8/31 @strikeslip.gallery
@_ottra_vez made me breakfast & then we did this. Everyone always wants me to put the outline over the face, I have a love/hate relationship with doing that. Mostly hate. Today it's good.
We DID NOT paint naked at Nude Bowl, but thanks to @wasted_talent_777 4x4 we pulled right up!! Wish I had more time to spend with him! I love the desert so much!
I told @mrtheycallmeradio months ago I wanted to do the Jeopardy letters. He said I can do Alex Trebek! I said deal!! It finally happened today! *Sigh* you would think after 5 years I could do a straight outline, but I get so damn nervous I don't know why...
Regardless I'm pretty happy with this.
You gotta love it when you don't plan anything, but everything falls into place! I was just finishing up work today when @jonanjello hit me up telling me he was going to be in Oakland. We met up in front of my dog clients building & he blessed me with Volumes 4 & 5 of his East Bay Train Graffiti books. Thanks for always making cover space for me! And always thanking me in the acknowledgments. Got to give him a little tour of the Oakland train yard. His first time!
