Architecture, for us, has never been about subscribing to a single language. It is about conversation. About tension. About memory. About possibility. At Flow Design Architects, we often pull, push, distort, reinterpret, and borrow from the architectural languages of the past to represent the realities of the present while alluding to the future. Classical proportions meet contemporary restraint. Familiar domestic forms are stretched, layered, and reassembled into something both recognizable and unexpected. This project reflects that ongoing exploration — an eclectic composition of volumes, textures, and spatial ideas shaped through contrast and coexistence. After nearly 9 years of practice, we are beginning to see our design palette reveal itself more clearly: expressive yet disciplined, nostalgic yet forward-looking, grounded yet experimental. Originally built in 1930, this fully renovated residence at Shirley Road reimagines suburban living through thoughtful design, refined detailing, and modern family-centered spaces.
