Each walked away with a more complete understanding of how beef comes from the pasture to our plate, from start to finish. Although much of our day was spent classroom style, our guests still got to be hands on with beef, even doing a taste test! Huge thanks to @uf.ifas for being with us today, and a special shoutout to @gatorgrillclub for coming out to learn from the pros. As always, eat more beef! 🥩
What an outstanding first day of our Ranch to Ribeye Tour!🥩 Our guests began the day learning about the industry from a classroom perspective, then moved on to the field. We heard first hand how important environmental stewardship is at Usher Land and Timber, followed by a unique view of a Florida stocker and beef operation at Quincey Cattle. We wrapped the day up with a steak diner cooked by our IFAS chefs. Follow along tomorrow for more of the tour!
