Hi friends, yesterday we dropped our new album, ORDINARY MISERY!!!

As many of you probably don't know, we all work full-time and making music is basically a really expensive hobby for us. The last 2 years working on this record have been full of ups, but unfortunately even more downs. I'm gonna be honest, I think about quitting on a daily basis. We've been following this dream of making a living out of music for quite some years now. However, we really struggle with growing a bigger community and movement that supports us on our way. Most of the time, I/we feel completely left alone with all the work that has to be done, the lack of understanding but also with all the thinking and coming up with innovative approaches, etc. I am really thankful for my bandmates Simon, Andre and Sebi (wo maybe isn't officially a member of LZ but really is one) who do as much as they can for this project and sometimes make impossible things happen. I am really thankful for our manager and mentor Jens, who found us a couple of years ago and saw something special in us that I sometimes struggle myself to see. I still can't wrap my head around how he "wastes" his time on us even though he has some huge bands in his roster that would deserve his attention a lot more than we do. ๐ I'm really thankful for Claudia, my girlfriend, and our social media girl who started creating content, preparing posts, captions, stories, and muuuch more about a year ago. She plays a big role in our public appearance and, well, puts me into the right state of mind more often than she should have to. Love you!
I just did something I rarely do, I sat down and listened to this new album in its eternity on Spotify. And I'm so glad we didn't quit cause it's a banger of a record!! I know my younger self would be more than fascinated and proud of me.
I'm telling you all this because I want you to understand how I feel and why I appreciate every single one of you who likes, comments, shares, shows up at concerts, etc.
So I officially hand this album over to you guys. Have fun with it ๐ซถ๐ป much love โค๏ธ
