Florian Schott is a German filmmaker living in Namibia since 2009. His Namibian Short Films ‘Everything Happens for a Reason’ (2013) and ‘Baxu and the Giants’ (2019) as well as his Feature Film ‘Katutura’ (2015) screened at Film Festivals worldwide and won numerous international Awards. ‘Baxu and the Giants’ became the first Namibian film on streaming platform Netflix. The upcoming film, currently titled 'African Relativity', marks Schott's return to Namibia after several years working primarily on large-scale European television productions.
