Thank you @requerdos__ and @nubia.andreaa for giving me the opportunity to come up with the looks for their shoot titled āMi Genteā. When they told me they were looking for looks celebrating Mexican/latin culture I was so excited to help out since it was right up my alley. These looks I came up with are love letters and an homage to Mexican culture (which is vast) from vaquero, Mexican grunge/rock to Harajuku/Mexican streetwear and Chicano workwear. Sharing my first reel of my first time doing multiple flush settings on a ring. Going from the process of drawing a quick design I made to melting silver scrap into a plate, sketching the design onto the plate, sawing it, filing it and finally setting the stones into it. Love this ringā¤ļø
Well this ring is finally done yall!! This was fabricated with no wax casting which meant it would crack along the road (it was a really thick silver plate!) but nonetheless all that hard work payed off ! For the design I wanted to feature crosses in my project so I went with a silver band consisting of crosses with crystals in the center of each cross. I got to do flush setting for the first time and it turned out better than I thought it would !
Itās so shiny and elegant perfect for everyday wear !

Finished my first sterling silver ring ! Practiced bezel setting with a Cabochon moonstone as my choice for this project ! So glad I soldered the bezel setting in a horizontal way on to the band, turned out better than I thought it would :) Swipe to see the process!
