In 2012, I had the chance to meet the maestro at the Grammy museum during their reunion tour. Brian was sitting in his own private green room with Malinda where my friend and I met him. So grateful to @mrrobbyboy for secretly documenting that meeting.
It’s been one month since Brian transcended. I hope you’re somewhere in the sun. Thank you for the endless love and refuge you brought thru your music.
Recorded in Hydra, Greece @ocfstudio

🟥 @floreana___ is so legit.
She pinged our radar thanks to the great @aquariumdrunkard (always a step ahead of us dammit) - and we haven’t looked back since.
She hates music critic talk, and so do I, so … just trust us and go listen to her. She’s a phenom, truly.
Her AOTY comes to us from perennial favorite Jessica Pratt. A once in a lifetime talent whose voice carries centuries within it. She is unreal, yet exists amongst us.
Her album “Here in the Pitch” came out back in May on the very great @mexican_summer and it’s elevated AF. True baroque goodness that will haunt your speakers.
Get into both these ladies!

Watch @floreana___ read "The Shark Whisperer" and explore the fascinating life of Donald Nelson, a pioneering marine biologist who spent his time on Earth undoing the damage that 'Jaws' did to societies perception of sharks.
This Nautilus Narration is available now on YouTube, Spotify, and accessible through the linkinbio ➡️ @NautilusMag
"Over 30 years, Nelson’s lab produced almost 50 publications about shark behavior," writes science journalist @by.katharine.gammon . "In study after study, Nelson uncovered evidence that sharks are complex and intelligent social animals, rather than the solitary, unpredictable killers driven by primitive instincts and insatiable hunger featured in Jaws."
