Welcome to DUMBO. Today marks the grand opening of Maman. Inspired by the rich history of this neighborhood — Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass — DUMBO was once an industrial waterfront filled with warehouses, shipping docks 🚢 , and the movement of goods flowing through New York City. Fast forward to today, it has transformed into one of the most vibrant and coveted neighborhoods in America, where history and modern culture now coexist side by side. Welcome to the grand opening of Maman in DUMBO, where history, architecture, and botanical storytelling come together in one immersive experience. Inspired by the industrial past of the neighborhood, Floratorium transformed the space with towering gardenia trees 🌳 intertwined with jasmine vines, creating the feeling of nature reclaiming the old warehouse district. Stop by today to explore the installation, soak in the atmosphere, and celebrate the opening with us. While you’re here, enjoy Maman’s beloved chocolate chip cookie, fresh buttery croissants, and beautifully crafted lattes that have made the café a New York favorite. Come wander through DUMBO, take pictures, and experience the magic of Maman’s newest home.nagical@universe of maman created designed by @_byelisa_ , we created towering gardenia trees intertwined with delicate jasmine flowers, giving the illusion of two ecosystems growing together naturally over time. The installation feels frozen in time — organic, immersive, and alive — as if nature slowly reclaimed the industrial bones of the space. Come experience it for yourself at Maman DUMBO, and don’t forget to tag us in your photos. 📍 66 Water Street, Brooklyn, NY 🎥 @jromeroromero 🍪 @_mamannyc_ 👩‍🎨 @carlosfranqui 👸 @_byelisa_

The difference is rarely in what’s obvious. It lives in nuances, proportion, texture, restraint, movement, light, and the decisions most people never notice — but always feel. At Floratorium, craftsmanship is part of the atmosphere, a way of creating where excellence and intention are the foundation.

Starting this spring Monday with a visit to the flower 💐 market on West 28th Street. Fifteen years ago, I first walked these blocks with the flower school @flowerschoolny , learning my way through the market, meeting vendors, and discovering the endless world of flowers and branches that would later shape Floratorium. To this day, it remains one of the most inspiring places for any florist. The street transforms into a jungle 🌴within the concrete of New York City — filled with seasonal blooms, foraged branches, supplies for studios, nurseries, hotels, and every imaginable element tied to the flower industry. More than anything, it’s a gathering place for artists and people who share the same passion for flowers and the natural world. It’s always special running into familiar faces, talking about the business, exchanging ideas, and reconnecting through flowers.

It’s Met Gala Monday. As the first Monday in May ushers in the highly anticipated Met Gala, we’re reminded that times are shifting…and with them, a new generation of visionaries shaping what’s to come. A look back at The Garden of Time ⏰ a moment where we transformed the streets of NYC into an immersive experiential ecosystem, elevating the ordinary into something unforgettable. While times evolve, our purpose never has: to inspire, to elevate, and to bring the beauty of nature into unexpected places. This time, we brought it to the cobblestone streets of the Meatpacking District—reimagining them as a living Garden of Time, in dialogue with the spirit of the Met Gala. The world may feel uncertain. The times have changed. But intention remains. Let love ❤️, compassion, freedom, and art lead the way. Happy Met Gala Monday. Giulietta in New York becomes the setting for a Capri-inspired installation—that transports you to the sunlit island. Lemon branches and lemon leaves create the foliage, layered with jasmine vine and laurel branches for movement and depth. The sculptural form is built from hand braided wisteria vines and curly willow—our signature structure. Our artisans replicate the organic intricacy of trees—designed to climb into the bar and the façade, for a result that feels fully integrated with the architecture. For us; intention and nostalgia guide the way. Developed through our Biofauxlia™ approach, the installation balances permanence with seasonality: citrus catching the light against tonal greens, creating something that doesn’t read as decoration, but as part of the place—immersive, evolving, and vibrant. A Floratorium Biofauxlia classic, reimagined season after season at The Four Seasons Hotel, downtown New York 🌿 Each tree begins with a handwoven structure of wisteria vines and curly willow—our signature Biofauxlia—onto which layers of camellia greenery and blooms are placed to complete the form. Our monumental camellia trees have become part of the arrival itself—sculptural, enduring, and naturally powerful. The camellia, carries a rare duality: strength and softness, permanence and grace. It doesn’t demand attention, it earns it—slowly, over time. For years, in partnership with The Four Seasons, we’ve evolved these trees as botanical architecture—refreshed each season, yet always rooted in the same intention: to create a moment that feels timeless, and to connect people with nature in unexpected ways. From season to season, Magnolia Bakery, a New York icon renowned for baking the best pastries and desserts in the city, has become a botanical canvas; one we’ve had the privilege to shape and evolve year after year. 🌿 Each installation—whether in bloom, in transition, or in holidays—marks a moment in time, yet always returns to the same intention: to create a place that brings joy, because we share Magnolia’s mission: to Make today sweeter than yesterday. We invite you to visit the new installation composed with wisteria vines, curly willow, wisteria flowers, garden roses, and jasmine. Stop by and indulge in the delicious desserts. Twelve signs. Twelve botanical languages. Each one defined by its own structure, rhythm, and energy— Aries initiates. Taurus grounds. Gemini moves. Cancer holds. Leo radiates. Virgo refines. Libra balances. Scorpio transforms. Sagittarius expands. Capricorn builds. Aquarius envisions. Pisces dissolves. A complete system—mapped through botanicals. Inspired by the recent 7 planetary convergence and Aries new moon—we share the language of flowers, and our love for the beauty of Mother Earth. — The Botanical Zodiac Twelve Signs · Twelve Expressions • Twelve Seasonal Bouquets

This is what Floratorium loves most: translating a brand’s story into botanical form. Turning architecture into atmosphere. For Rails in NYC, we created Citrus Reverie; a botanical design inspired by lemon groves, mimosa in bloom, and the effortless beauty at the heart of the Rails brand: European refinement meets laid-back California ease. At Rails, a brighter future is part of the brand philosophy; grounded in a commitment to education, sustainability, and equality, with the belief that meaningful change begins through action. Values we deeply share at Floratorium, where design is always intentional; created not only to inspire visually, but to reconnect people with nature, elevate everyday spaces, and leave a meaningful impact. Cascading citrus, golden florals, and layered greenery transform the façade into something whimsical—part storefront, part daydream, part invitation. Lemon brings brightness, vitality, and movement. Mimosa adds softness and air. Together, they echo a brand known for elevated style. If you’re in NYC, visit @rails and experience it in person. Some installations are meant to be seen. Others are meant to be felt. 🍋✨ Creative Direction by @carlosfranqui Photographs by @jromeroromero Installation by @floratorium artisans Location: Rails Boutique in SoHo • 54 Green St, NYC
