We've come up with something a little different this time: a prolonged wave from now until the end of month (or longer if you wish). We'd like to send messages of SUPPORT to student encampments AND messages of vehement DISSENT to the presidents and admin of school who jeapordize the safety of their students by refusing to negotiate and instead bring the brutality of the police. Shame on these institutions for teaching students to embody their education, to change the world, and then punishing them for it. Send mail to these presidents: the world is watching, their legacy is shame. . We are proud of the students for putting so much on the line for liberation and humanity. . There are no universities left in Gaza. . We are working on contact info for presidents of those schools who have offended the worst and the student orgs who have beared the worst brunt of the bruality. Like many of you, we have been calling and emailing our reps and signing our names to letters. This is all great and important. It can also feel like we are easily ignored. Unlike a voicemail or an email, PHYSICAL MAIL takes up space, demands attention, and creates visual volume. Physical mail must be transported and handled by people, it is not easily deleted or filed away by Al or assistants never to be seen by the recipient. Imagine a mass of mail being dumped in your representatives offices, make that the goal.✊✊
