At a family table, an open conversation occurs between mother and son. We cultivated this dialogue through cherished hours spent together in the studio, separate starting points converging in a playground that can be found at the
centre of our installation Through an exploration of the liminal spaces we inhabit as children and then experience again in adulthood, we attempt to capture the moment golden nostalgia fades and is marred by reality. Happiness in all its subjective glory is something we yearn for yet seem to move away from. It is within this fine balance we teeter precariously, having found a moment of repose in the glint of the glaze.
