Not all LPRs are created equal.
A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash while crossing the street in Berkeley, California. Police say the victim was struck in a marked crosswalk, carried on the hood of the vehicle for more than 41 yards, and then thrown back into the roadway. Investigators used Flock cameras, surveillance footage, and witness statements to identify the suspect vehicle and locate the driver, leading to an arrest.
