French-Brazilian DJ @flo_masse has built an international reputation with her sharp vinyl selections and high-energy sets.
The last time she played for us, she was a highlight of the night 👀
With a drummer’s sense of rhythm and her signature blend of progressive house and trance, she took us all on a journey 🖤
We took the opportunity to ask her a few questions about her life and career.

We are now proud to release the results of the first studio, three tracks that composed the first release of Alto Records:

Flo Massé shaped the track’s foundation with her artistic vision - a trancy journey, built on a raw, thundering bassline and acid-laced synths.
Lamalice answered with his own version: a pulsing remix with relentless drums and a driving techno heartbeat.
Louison, inspired by a nap beneath the studio table, crafted something different - an ethereal ambient remix, soft and weightless.
This is the first chapter from Alto Records. The second is already stirring.

For this edition, local favourite @dcsalas goes B2B with @mrhodj — co-founder of Klasse Wrecks and a true selector at heart.
Joining them is @flo_masse , the French-Brazilian DJ & producer who has built an international reputation with her sharp vinyl selections and energetic sets.
Rounding out the lineup, local forces come together as Magma’s own @seb_bonpublic goes B2B with @charlickmypxssy , and @umbra_bxl meets @it_is_margo .

L’artiste franco-brésilienne @flo_masse oscille entre house, trance, acid et electro, créant des sets énergisants finement maîtrisés et toujours imprévisibles. Percussionniste de formation, elle a grandi entre la France et le Brésil, et c’est de cet héritage culturel qu’elle puise son sens du rythme et sa musicalité unique. Elle insuffle dans ses sets le groove et l’intensité de ses rythmes, mêlant technique et émotion.
Ses vinyles, soigneusement diggés, reflètent toute sa culture musicale, sa curiosité insatiable pour les sons et son goût pour les voyages qui façonnent ses univers sonores. De Dimensions au Gottwood, elle a fait vibrer les clubs et festivals du monde entier et son sens du mix la place comme l’une des révélations internationales de ces dernières années.

Flo Massé : ce que la musique transmet.
Deux jours après avoir joué pour le label allemand Giegling à la Cité Fertile, nous avons eu le plaisir de rencontrer @flo_masse .
La DJ et productrice franco-brésilienne revient sur son set pour Giegling et HORS-SOL qu’elle regardait encore en vidéo le matin même et sur ce qui l’a construit : une transmission musicale au féminin, la batterie comme socle, 14 ans au Brésil où elle comprend ce qu’un dancefloor peut être.
Elle nous parle aussi de sa trajectoire depuis sa Boiler Room en 2022, des Transmusicales de Rennes et de leurs 4 300 personnes, de la confiance construite avec son booker au sein @alto_artists , et de sa vie de productrice qui prend forme un EP attendu d’ici la fin de l’année.
Ce qu’elle cherche à transmettre, au fond, c’est l’idée qu’un dancefloor peut être un endroit où l’on se retrouve vraiment, où l’on est ensemble, et où l’on peut être entièrement soi-même. C’est peut-être là, dans cette liberté partagée, que tout commence.

Some moments can’t be planned, they just fall into place. The light, the space, the people, the energy… everything aligned in a way that felt almost unreal! Being able to dive into my deeper sound in that atmosphere was pure emotion, pure connection, pure bliss 🥰

Exactly 8 years ago, I recorded my very first mix on a small controller a friend lent me. From deep & lofi house to breakbeat and progressive trance, both my sound and myself have grown in ways I couldn’t have imagined back then.
This Saturday feels like a full circle moment. I’ll be playing a selection of some of my favorite deep sounds I’ve been digging since 2018. Grateful to be part of this journey with @giegling — really looking forward to this one.
