How are we nearly in May, anyone else feel like the seasons flying by. I haven't been doing weekly posts on whats flowering which is so helpful for me my brides and florists to look back on for following years and so much going on I thought id better start this Sunday. This week has been a week for planting out everything I possibly can, making way for more seedlings and trying to get a full season of flowers. Mostly the tulips and daffs are over but the ranunculus is looking amazing and really fills the gap of colour needed, these are grown under low tunnels are much stronger than my main tunnel grown and should keep flowering for a good month. Very exciting news I had a book arrive in the post #lifeinbloom @bloomandburn has written this beautiful book filled with seasonal local blooms, expert tips and great advise if you're looking for a new book i highly recommend, I love seeing if I can spot my flowers in it and knowing people across the world will be looking at mine and other local growers flowers. Also after months of sitting in the polytunnel after being turfed out of home all my wedding glass and jugs have been washed and put away into their forever home, the workshop has such a beautiful feeling about it and getting to put things ive collected over the years into a forever home is a dream come true, still so much to do but slowly slowly the dream is becoming a reality Have a great Sunday

Easter pick your own is becoming a new tradition for so many and ive loved meeting new and old faces. I started pyo tulips in 2022 when i just mixed a mass of tulips in beds and you just turned up with a bucket, it had its teething problems and since then its definitely advanced especially now the workshop is in and I have electricity meaning yummy tea and cake can be included, places to sit and relax and making it more of an experience where you get to pick at leisure with the field to yourself. Next year I plan on more tulips more picking and more fun i can't wait to get the bulb catalogues through. The tulips have been amazing and paced themselves over 4 weeks this weekend being another sell out and who knows maybe even next weekend, I will be sad to see them go ! Just a big thank you to @withlovelucyphotography for bringing her beautiful family and capturing some beautiful images, I hide from cameras always but even im happy to share a couple of my ugly mug 😆, if you are looking for family photos in the flowers, bluebells or beautiful countryside she is your lady. #tulips #pickyourown #flowerfarmers #britishgrownflowers #seasonal

2025 what a year Its the year I finally got my workshop got electric connected got a space to play in which opens up so many ideas and possibilities i can't wait for the next chapter and where my little building takes me. Its been a tough growing year with a very dry summer but as always the flowers amaze me and push on through whats thrown at them, 2 new low tunnels are up and running to try and deal with a few growing issues over the years and much needed extra space, im looking forward to seeing how they work. A big thank you to all my customers new and old, its been my busiest year yet and without you it would not be possible, I love putting the world to rights with you all and getting excited about new ideas you all share with me, here's to 2026 let's see what it brings for us all, see you all soon with lots of flowers XXX HAPPY NEW YEAR XXX
