Working on this short doc, Final First Edition, was an absolute treat! The film follows @rich_tmnt ’s incredible cross-country journey to reprint the very first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic using the same techniques and materials as the 1984 original. With a playful nod to '80s, the heist-like montages were especially fun to grade, blending a retro aesthetic with a connection to Maine that made it even more meaningful to me.
