We are so proud to be apart of Team Michigan. We are gearing up to head down to Phoenix for the International Science Fair (Only 26 days away!). It is an honor to represent the Great Lakes State alongside the incredible directors from the Detroit and Kalamazoo Science Fair.
Hopefully Michigan will be bringing home some heavy hardware. ✋
We were honored to have Matt Franklin from Senator Elissa Slotkin’s office join us at the Flint Regional Science & Engineering Fair. Recognizing student research at the government level is key to fostering the next generation of innovators. Our middle and high school students were thrilled to share their work! Thank you, Matt, for investing your time in our students!
A massive thank you to Percivierre Whitmore from Governor Whitmer’s Office for spending time with us! Some of our students even had the chance to present their projects to him. It is so powerful for these young researchers to see firsthand how much their work truly matters to our community.

We had a great time at the Flint Firebirds S.T.E.A.M. Night at the Dort Financial Center on February 21st! Some of our elementary competitors were able to show case their science fair projects and awards! They had a blast talking to the public about the discoveries they made! We even had 4 students join the Firebirds on the ice with a paper airplane t-shirt competition! @flintfirebirds
