Lookback: A winter afternoon on a Saturday in Dresden. You can hear noisy drones. Lasch plays drone synthesizers, creating a solid ground with bassy pads. Mino’s violin, altered by a lot of effects, inhabits the mids and heights. nnooderek adds acoustic elements with her self made open instrument and her dulcimer. Once in a while effected voices coming out of Valentina Kaspari’s cassette recorder. It’s from interviews about abortion. The effects from Lasch’s synthesizers turn them more into musical elements. Samples from Shannon Soundquist’s Sound design add some meadows, forests and some rocky kicks to the sound landscape.
