Call it an intro… because it is. ⭐️ If you’re new to my corner of this app, hello! This post is for you! I love shiny objects, I care deeply about my community, and I promise I’m not a crow in a human suit… probably. I’m truly just someone who feels a lot of emotions, loves to hyper focus (hello ADHD) on plants, and has a Bachelor of Design from an art school! I also have a podcast, @thebodytalkspod which is all about finding trust in our body that I suggest ya check out. I coach from a body-neutral, mindfulness, and HAES lens. Not to mention I am elbow deep in the dirt, but also the scientific texts to keep up to date with all the flexibility science you don’t need to know! All you need to do is roll out your mat. But I think this is a pretty good overview of me. I can’t wait to get to know you! Tell me your favourite movement prop/plant/animal/ or movie genre below so I know you’re also not a crow in a human suit👇💗

Why go to a stinky gym that is going to promote harm when you could work out anywhere, at anytime? 🌱 The Garden is for people who are the doers. They know what they want, and go for it! And even on days when they don’t know what they want, they have Pathways included so they can take the guesswork out of what to do next. 🌺 BLOOM private coaching is perfect for people with specific goals and need accountability. As one-offs, 3-, 6-, or 12-month programming this is for people who want a personalized plan to recover from injury, prep for a competition, or just want specialized tips made for them. 🧘 Flex Fundamentals (coming back January 2026) is the place to be when rediscovering movement and want a solid foundation to build off of. 6 weeks of movement, plus live classes and office hours means you can get into your movement journey on the right foot. 🪩 For people who want to show off their splits on the dance floor… or in the bedroom, Split it in Two is the place to be. Instead of fake promises to get your splits in 20 days, spend 14 days learning specific exercises and stretches to get the most out of your splits Will learning what you need to focus on to get a bit deeper. Now not to toot my own horn, but these services are all great. And if you agree you may not be sure what’s best for your needs, and I got you there! Book a call with me and we can chat about your goals, needs and current abilities to help you figure out ✨exactly✨ will help you reach where you want to go. — #flexibilitywithvera #plussizefitness #bodyneutralfitness #onlinefitnesscoach #stretchwithme #bodypositivefitness

Should I tell them I yoinked their name? 🤭😂 It’s really been almost 6 years and I haven’t really shared this story so figure now’s the time! If you gave yourself another name, what would it be? (Michelle isn’t up for grabs I still use it!!!)

I have a bachelors of design (illustration), do you now how hard it is for me to read a science paper? Very, but I will because I have a thirst for knowledge. 😮‍💨 Lots of talk around an opinion piece that came out and I had to get in on it. Mostly just to tell you guys that we can stop saying trauma is stored in our muscles!!!! I think I agreed with this as recently as last month, but science changes (or you look into it), and your opinions change. 🙂‍↕️ Anywho, all the fun nerd info is in the slide. Book an FST with me in Toronto to turn your nervous system to fight or flight to rest and digest (the best feeling, tbh). ♥️ — #thebodykeepsscore #nervoussystemregularion #fascialstretchtherapy #torontowellness

How do you care for your body? For me, self care goes beyond moving my body and rest days, it includes knowing my status. Anyone can be at risk of getting HIV if not taking proper steps to protect themselves. Getting regularly tested for HIV is one of the most loving things you can do for yourself. Testing is quick, and gives you real information to make empowered choices about your health. That’s not scary, that’s self care. 💓 Save this post as a reminder to book your test! And check out the first link in my linktree to learn more #ad #KnowHIV
