Urban planning, contingencies and commercial practices squeeze clusters in plots of land, and from there contract and spread. How do we invade and penetrate a field that has been suspended? One way of practice is to read and paraphrase ruins.
In the "Triathlon" series "Every Ruin Deserves an Exhibition", we advocate that the creators detach themselves from the typical landscape of exploring ruins, archive traces of the everyday and slices of history, create and curate their own exhibitions, and heterodoxize the universal narrative logic that has become the stronghold of trophies on social media.
