Sylvie Fleury’s solo exhibition “CHEW ON THIS” is on view until July 26 at Mehdi Chouakri Gallery in Berlin!
Drawing from the visual language of historically male-dominated art movements, Fleury reimagines their forms to provoke critical thought: CHEW ON THIS! Her work delivers a composed yet incisive critique of the constraints of traditional art historical categories and the mechanisms of artistic production. Through appropriation, shifts in context, and ironic twists, she exposes and unsettles these underlying systems.
