Before the year ends let me post the photos from my evening wear final from last spring…
DEVOUR
This evening wear collection explores love through the visceral metaphor of consumption and hunger. The designs capture the tension between devotion and destruction, translating the all consuming nature of desire into garments that blur romantic tradition with raw intensity… where to love is to devour, and to be loved is to be consumed.
This collection really pushed me as a designer over the course of the two quarters. I had a really clear vision of where I wanted to go with the concept, taking inspiration from some of my favorite books, Ethel Cain, Hannibal, and couldn’t be happier with the final result.
