A great show of skill and storytelling - with an epic twist of VFX magic… this one was in a world of its own! We loved it, and so did the judges. Here’s what they had to say:

Here are some BTS to get your mind curious about what to expect from the SASA Short Film Comp 2.0 👀. We have some MIND-BLOWING submissions!🤯
Synopsis:
A hunter is a spirit in human form that belongs to the Ruler of Decay, who creates these spirits to hunt and purify the spirits that unlawfully occupy another hunter’s reality and commit bad deeds. Such a corrupted spirit is called a tainted hunter.
When a spirit becomes tainted, the Ruler of Decay sends out a spirit called Redemption. This spirit hunts and purifies the tainted hunter to restore balance.
A hunter became tainted and stole a special lamp from the Ruler of Receptacle. The lamp can capture a spirit when weakened, and now a Hunter of Redemption has been sent to purify the tainted hunter.

Thank you @pyranha_stunts for giving me the opportunity to create an animated previz which was my first time creating an animated previz, took at least a month, animation is not perfect but I learned a lot of the rigging and animating during the creation and I’m really happy that some of my ideas made it into the final version 🙏🥲
