A call to bloody arms. Handmade collage, A4. 2026. I’ve been having nightmares again, so I had to do a quick rage collage about it. I somehow suspect this barrage of horrid news about violations of women’s rights serves some kind of function for certain people, I think they want us scared and disorganized. But Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, now imagine them united in the millions.
Coverart I did for @srpnt.str.cnvgr and the Abyssidious record: MALFORMED LYGHT. This little gem is now in my hands, gifted to me in the forests of Trøndelag. A fitting venue for this project I had the pleasure of being a part of, thanks to my dear friend @sheweavesabyssalriddles who had me along for the ride. Dissonant blackened death in magenta. 🪦

Spatial dread in slime. Handmade collage and ink, bit bigger than A4. 2026. Almost forgot I made another cosmic horror piece, but today I finally scanned it. Again, the scanner detests the neon green ink I used, so swipe for a pic of the more correct green. I’m not agoraphobic or anything, but sometimes I can freak myself out letting my mind drift into the vast emptiness of the universe, just by scale alone. It’s like looking in a mirror! 🩸
Serving time 2: the blind leading the blind. Handmade collage, A3. 2026. After a few years I now found another guy in an orange shirt, so I made another inmate of the human condition! Last time, I was heavily inspired by the way capitalism weaponizes humanity, and this time I was thinking about power and the emotionally impotent that wield it. Power needs solid opposition. An eye for an eye just leaves a lot of bleeding, empty eye sockets. 🩸swipe for serving time 1.

The art was done by @fleshflies , the cover is a piece she already had made that we came across and it hit hard as expressing what this record is about. She made the insert and label art to match.
We recording with @joe.andert0ne in Portland. We’ve always considered ourselves an in between-er band that’s taken inspiration from punk, hardcore and grind. While still classic Dry Socket, we took our time and played around more with this recording, especially with guitar leads.
