The Series 1 Mark II Redwood and Pacific are exercises in harmony and contrast. Advancing Fleming’s philosophy of total design integration, each features a different version of Caliber FM.02 with its own unique colors and finishes. For the rose gold Redwood, this means subtle champagne bridges, bright gold ratchet wheels, and a curved gold balance bridge; the tantalum Pacific, on the other hand, features anthracite bridges, rhodium ratchet wheels, and a polished steel balance bridge.
Both versions of FM.02 have the same seven-day power reserve – though we removed the power reserve indicator from the FM.01 for a cleaner look – and feature 189 interior angles, each of which is shaped and polished by hand. They are technically identical but have completely different personalities, just the like the watches they power.

Introducing the Series 1 Mark II Redwood and Pacific, the clearest and fullest expressions yet of Fleming’s design philosophy of complete integration. From dial to case to movement, every element works together to create a dynamic watch that only truly reveals itself over time, responding to light in new and unexpected ways with each wear.
Redwood pairs a 5N 18k rose gold case with a brown and gold dial, while Pacific utilizes a tantalum case in harmony with a blue-green dial. New hour markers and a black-polished sector ring add depth and contrast nicely with the brushed dial sections and faceted hands. While both are powered by the Caliber FM.02, each has its own finishing style and component colors to complement the corresponding case and dial. Each is limited to just 25 pieces and is available from today.

It has been one week since we launched the Series 1 Mark II Pacific and Redwood, and we couldn’t be happier with the response. These watches are inspired by the landscapes we call home and also represent a significant evolution and refinement of our design identity.
Each was designed as a cohesive whole, from the hands and dial to the case and movement, creating watches that are greater than the sum of their parts and only truly reveal themselves over time.

The Series 1 Mark II Redwood pairs a 5N 18k rose gold case with a dial that mixes warm gold and brown tones, echoing the ancient Coastal Redwood forests found across northern California, Fleming’s home. As you move from shade to sun and back again, the dial’s colors shift and evolve, and the finishes become more and less pronounced. The result is a dial that never looks the same twice.
These hues carry through to the FM.02 movement, too, with its champagne-colored bridges and gold ratchet wheels and balance bridge. Like with the dial, a combination of soft finishes like graining and brushing combine with harder finishes like black-polishing to offer ample contrast in any conditions, showing off the incredible work of the watchmakers and finishers who hand craft each watch.

Inspired by the California sun reflecting off ocean swells, the Series 1 Mark II Pacific features an especially dynamic dial. In direct sunlight it shines in bright blue-green hues, showing off the vertical and circular brushed finishes along with the black-polished sector ring and new hour markers. In shade, it has a moodier feel, with its deep turquoise colors sometimes verging on black.
Complementing these cool tones is the expertly finished tantalum case, which required more than two-and-a-half years of R&D. Tantalum is a metal unlike any other in watchmaking, but it brings a gravitas to the Series 1 Mark II Pacific that couldn’t be achieved any other way. It was well-worth all the challenges and the results speak for themselves.
