This was a raw, unrehearsed discussion about my journey in the beauty industry—what it really looks like behind the scenes, the obstacles I’ve had to overcome, and the lessons I’ve learned as a makeup artist and entrepreneur.
I don’t usually open up like this, so this was me stepping out of my comfort zone. Sharing my story doesn’t come naturally to me, but I know growth requires being willing to be seen beyond just the work.
We also spoke about mindset and purpose, and how I’ve learned to stay aligned with what I feel called to do rather than chasing validation, followers, or recognition. I truly believe that when you stay focused on purpose and excellence, the rest—opportunities, growth, and financial results—naturally follows.
Galatians 6:9 is something I hold onto for that reason: keep going, stay grounded, and trust the process.
