Very happy to welcome @rickdarge to our roster for exclusive representation in Belgium ✨ Rick Darge is known for his playful, humorous, and witty storytelling, often built around fantastical vignettes and amusing banter. Born in South Plainfield, New Jersey, Rick discovered filmmaking at an early age – often employing family members around him to star in his short films and fake infomercials. He went on to study and graduate from USC Film School and spent the next few years working in post production, cutting everything from feature length documentaries, commercials, and television specials. Rick would go on to win an Emmy award for his work on one of the first web series programs ever to be nominated, Satacracy 88. Having found success in cinematography, Rick made his final transition into writing and directing. He has since worked with brands such as Pepsi, Burger King, Hubspot and Nike, and celebrities including The Weeknd, Keke Palmer, and LCD Soundsystem. Thrilled to welcome @salomonligthelm to our roster, represented exclusively by us in Belgium 🔥 Born to missionary parents and raised between Johannesburg, Dubai and Sydney, Salomon is a self taught filmmaker whose international upbringing strongly informs his distinctive, visceral yet meditative work. His textural and experimental voice seeks new ways of exploring visual and narrative storytelling, always with a human story at its core. With 15 Vimeo Staff Picks, a Cannes Lion, and multiple wins and nominations at Academy qualifying festivals including Clermont Ferrand, Leeds, Manchester and Tirana for his short film MOEDER, his work has received international recognition across film, music and advertising. His portfolio spans award winning shorts such as MOEDER and ROCKET WARS, commercials for Apple, Adidas, Mercedes and NBA, and music videos for artists including Justin Bieber, Skrillex, The Weeknd and Prince. Now based in New York City, he is currently developing his debut feature FOREIGN ANIMALS while writing his second feature, ICONOCLAST.
