Josh and his family operate a first-generation cow-calf ranch in Madison, Florida, managing both owned and leased land alongside his wife Lauren and their three teenage sons, Jacob, Jackson, and Jonathan. With roots in agriculture dating back to a small dairy farm in Hillsborough County, Josh developed an early passion for cattle and the ranching lifestyle. Their operation is committed to keeping Florida green through strong environmental stewardship, utilizing best management practices like rotational grazing and no-till forage planting to improve production, reduce erosion, and protect natural resources. Through participation in BMP and EQIP programs, they’ve strengthened their forage management and cattle performance while supporting long-term sustainability. A proud Florida Cattlemen’s Association member for 20 years, Josh values FCA’s grassroots leadership and its role in promoting and educating about beef production. For his family, FCA’s “Lead the Way” theme represents a commitment to sustainable ranching today while preserving the land for future generations.

The Administration’s plan to import more Argentinian beef to lower prices threatens American cattle producers.
Tight cattle supplies and high input costs—not lack of imports—are driving current prices. U.S. ranchers are rebuilding herds and investing heavily in the future of our beef supply.
The federal government should let the free market work instead of intervening in cattle markets or rewarding countries that don’t meet our animal health and food safety standards.
