And it’s finished! Factory Acceptance Testing of our latest triple-column SCC project has been completed. This project involved a lot of staff, so we just had to take a photo of the team posing with the system before it leaves Griffith. Last Friday, Flavourtech welcomed members from Griffith’s Probus Club to tour our head office and manufacturing facilities. Probus Club members meet monthly and enjoy getting the opportunity to visit local companies and learn more about the wide range of industries in Griffith. Flavourtech had the pleasure of hosting a contingent from The National Party of Australia at our Griffith Headquarters last Friday. In attendance were Senator, The Honourable Matthew Canavan, Leader of The Nationals, Brad Robertson, Candidate for Farrer, Mr Will Rolo, Miss Beck Auld and Chris Beckhouse. The group was very impressed with Flavourtech's manufacturing capabilities, unique technologies and enjoyed hearing the story of our origins and our recent expansion. Recently, our Operations Manager, Andrew, attended the Brand Riverina Community-Of-Practice Roundtable event in Griffith. This breakfast roundtable brought together local exporters, industry leaders, and service providers to explore how a stronger regional brand can support growth, visibility, and competitiveness in global markets. The group’s discussions focused on strengthening Griffith’s regional export capability and elevating the Brand Riverina identity in global markets. Flavourtech’s Spinning Cone Column has been used for almost 40 years across various aroma recovery, extraction, flavour management and dealcoholisation applications. After customer requests, we recently miniaturised the technology, releasing the SCC100! With a throughput of 25-115 L/hr*, it’s ideal for universities, R&D departments and small production runs. Three model types are available: ⭐ The SCC100-C : for clarified extracts and juices; ⭐ The SCC100-W : for dealcoholisation of alcoholic beverages; and ⭐ The SCC100-S : for slurry processing that may include coffee, tea, fruit and veg puree or pulp Our first batch of SCC100 customers love the easy-to-use touch screen, compact size and lockable castors. The unit can be quickly installed, operated and maintained by the user and is available to trial at one of our global pilot plants or at your own facilities.
