No words can truly capture the Flatwater Challenge.
Every day demands a new level of mental and physical strength.
Every mile pushes you past the edge of your limits.
Eight+ hours on the water - sleep, wake up, do it all again.
You’re tested mentally, physically, and spiritually in ways you never expect.
This is what the Flatwater Challenge is built on - the challenge, the fight, the choice to keep going when everything in you wants to stop.
The Netherlands challenge pushed our paddlers beyond.
Unpredictable conditions, relentless mileage, and 5 days on the water made this our most demanding Challenge yet.
But this is why we paddle.
Because everyone out there has a story.
Everyone has a why - someone they paddle for, someone they remember, someone they want to carry forward.
And every why ties directly back to our mission.
Through that grit, heart, and purpose, our Netherlands paddlers raised over $293,000 to fund fully covered access to therapy for individuals and families in the fight of their lives.
This is the Flatwater Challenge.

We’re looking for volunteers to support event set-up, the safety meeting, lunch, party boats, the post-paddle party, and one of the most special moments of the day: paddler send-off at Mansfield Dam (Jessica Hollis Park).
This is where 230 paddlers will prepare to hit the water and begin their 21-mile journey from dam to dam - all to help fund access to mental health therapy for those impacted by cancer.

Every paddler carries a why. On Monday, June 8, this community will paddle 21 miles from dam to dam to help raise $1.5M that will fund nearly 14,000 therapy sessions for Central Texas impacted by cancer.
