It's funny, don't you think? To have been close to the other side so many times, and still, to be able to stand up, smiling, being strong.
I wanted to close the year with this trend that, as with everything, I arrived late to, but I think I had no better time to do it than on December 31. This year I improved on many things and stepped back on others, but I always remind myself that healing is not linear and that relapses are part of moving forward. I am not yet the version I long to be, but the road is paved and I am certainly the best I have been in my entire life today. These last posts have been a bit cathartic, the end of the year always makes me emotional 🫶🏽

I honestly thought that this year I had not made drawings that I could put here (that is, that I liked them enough) but to my surprise, I did. It was not difficult yet, since I only had 9 on the list and therefore left only one outside (the Misa Amane one).
This was a year of hard work, in fact, I have noticed that I am going through a stage again where I do not find myself painting, but at least this time I am aware and can deal with it in a healthier way. This time it is not frustrating, nor does it make me feel bad, and during 2026 I will probably continue this stage of my relationship with drawing, but I accept it. Sometimes this journey is complicated, but now it has become a choice that I am willing to put down in my priorities, because incredible things are coming that I want to prioritize. After all, I know I won't stop drawing.
I usually try to choose a song that accompanies the aesthetics of the collage, but this time I chose one by @cazzu from her latest album Latinaje. An album that accompanied me a lot, by an artist I love, and that I was able to watch and enjoy live this year two months ago.
