Not how I expected to send this Saturday morning, but I hadn’t seen any scripts out there for calling Congress about these acts of war against Venezuela, so I wrote my own
Reposting this from last year on the feed. It’s a tough one out there this year even more than most. But I hope that everyone has a happy fourth with family and/or friends regardless of the state of the nation
@gilly_m and I had to say goodbye to our beloved Whiskey Jack yesterday. After 18 happy and healthy years his health had started to decline the last few months.
I can’t say how much Whiskey meant to me. I had him for almost half of my own life and basically all of my adult life.
I want to thank Whiskey’s regular vets at Companion and the folks at BluePearl. Dr. Flasinski was so helpful in trying to get Whiskey better and the emergency room staff who took such good care of him and us as we said a very difficult goodbye.
