Joseph Whipp joins Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Convention – July 31 - Aug 2, 2026. Joseph portrayed Sheriff Burke in “SCREAM” (1996). Joseph, along with David Arquette, are featured in the classic ice cream and cigarette scene in “SCREAM” (1996). Joseph was director Wes Craven’s “go to” for portraying law enforcement, as Craven also cast Joseph as Sergeant Parker in “A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET” (1984). Joseph has over 100 other roles in classic films and TV. Joseph will be joining David Arquette (Deputy / Sheriff Dewey Riley) and Marley Shelton (Deputy/ Sheriff Judy Hicks) as part of Woodsboro’s Finest reunion, in addition to Roger L. Jackson (the voice of Ghostface). Roger L. Jackson joins Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Convention – July 31 - Aug 2, 2026. Roger L. Jackson is the iconic voice of Ghostface across the entire “SCREAM” franchise. The brilliant voice work of Roger as Ghostface is a vital part of the “SCREAM” franchise, as he is literally the voice of “SCREAM”! In the opening of each “SCREAM” film, the audience anticipates hearing the voice of Roger as Ghostface for the first time, as it transports them back into the exciting, scary, and thrilling world of “SCREAM”! Roger L. Jacksons wonderful voicework as Ghostface barely scratches the surface of his fantastic body of work. Marley Shelton joins Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Convention – July 31 - Aug 2, 2026. Marley portrayed Deputy / Sheriff Judy Hicks in the “SCREAM” series. In addition to “SCREAM 4 & 5”, Marley has many other Horror film roles including Dr. Dakota Block in “PLANET TERROR” and “DEATH PROOF” from “GRINDHOUSE” (2007), “VALENTINE” (2001), and “SIN CITY” (2005). In other film roles, Marley was unforgettable as Wendy Peffercorn in “THE SANDLOT” (1993), as well as many other 90’s - 00’s romantic comedies including “NEVER BEEN KISSED” (1999), “BUBBLE BOY” (2001), and “SUGAR AND SPICE” (2001), in addition to working with renowned director Oliver Stone in “NIXON” (1995). Marley’s recent films include starring opposite Anthony Hopkins and Colin Farrell in the thriller “SOLACE” (2015), in addition to TV roles including guest starring with Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford in Taylor Sheridan’s “1923”, “MATLOCK” and starring in the sci-fi thriller podcast series “TOMORROW’S MONSTERS”. David Arquette joins Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Convention – July 31 - Aug 2, 2026. David Arquette created the iconic character Deputy/Sheriff Dewey Riley in the “SCREAM” series by skillfully blending qualities of innocence, loveable charm, and courageous bravery. These characteristics, brought to life in a for the ages performance by David, made Dewey an invaluable part of the “SCREAM” series. Even though Dewey was originally scripted to die in the first film, Wes Craven wisely saw the appeal of David’s performance as Dewey, and filmed the legendary “Dewey alive in the ambulance” scene. This insightful action by Craven allowed Dewey Riley to become one of the most beloved characters in horror film history! In addition to his role as Dewey in the SCREAM series, David has over 150 other major film and TV roles including co-starring in the original theatrical film “BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER” (1993), starring opposite Drew Barrymore in “NEVER BEEN KISSED” (1999), “READY TO RUMBLE” (2000), “EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS” (2002), “BONE TOMAHAWK” (2015) in which he co-starred with Kurt Russell, and the documentary about his return to professional wrestling “YOU CANNOT KILL DAVID ARQUETTE” (2020).
