We’re still riding high from a fabulous weekend sharing our Wagyu @grampiansgrapeescape . Loved teaming up with @warrackbutchery and @tombballinger from @coalcatering in the coal pit to show why Wagyu, fire and coals are a match made in heaven. Our CEO Anthony Fellows joined Nathan from Warrack Butchery for a Black Opal masterclass – breaking down and cooking a carcase. Tom served up our MB6-7 Tomahawks, adding his signature touch to elevate the depth of flavour. Our Wagyu also featured in a range of canapé dishes prepared by Damon from @flamebrothershallsgap for the Feel Good Friday industry welcome night. Their Black Opal Brisket Sliders were a hit at the coal pit on Sunday too. What a weekend! So this time in 4 weeks we will be in the middle of the 2025 Vic State Ride.... We would have had a top evening Sunday for the meet and greet at Alexandra House Sports Club here in Hamilton..... Then Monday after a top day we would of enjoyed ourselves at Flame Brothers Restaurant & Bar in Halls Gap... Tuesday will be another day of interesting day of sights followed by a top night at the Bull & Mouth Hotel in Horsham... Wednesday we turn back time (just a little 👌🏼) and cross the border to take in Robe Hotel for another enjoyable evening. Thursday we begin our Ocean Road tour and head back into Victoria for a night at the aptly named The Vic Port Fairy Then Friday after travelling all the Great Ocean Road has to offer we finish the week off at the Portarlington Grand Hotel for a night of good food and entertainment.... A last minute getaway turned into the most unexpected, fabulous weekend! The @cedarcountryretreat , nestled at the base of the Grampians mountain range, was our cosy home for the weekend in the beautiful town of Halls Gap⛰️⛰️⛰️ Where else could you walk straight off a mountain track into a pub?! We can’t wait to go back to explore all the wineries , cafes and restaurants but most importantly a hike to the spectacular waterfalls. During the recent Christmas break, wild fires burned more than 76,000 hectares which took a huge financial toll on the Halls Gap community who rely heavily on tourism. I’d love to encourage everyone to get out and visit towns who are affected by natural disasters and get those communities back on their feet with our tourist dollars! #hallsgap #hiking #nature #mountains #rockclimbing #roadtrip
