Had an evening yesterday of Alan Menken at the piano playing some hits, some misses, and some unreleased songs from his career. You could feel the audience barely holding back to singing along to the disney songs but personally I was fine being the only person to go WOO! for a song from a broadway flop.

visited the HOTA gallery and then took a nostalgia tour around surfers paradise, after catching the medal ceremony for the triathlon and sticking my feet into the ocean.
