A new documentary by @takeshifukunaga “AINU PURI” will premiere @tokyo_intl_film_festival after returning from its international premiere in Busan International Film Festival. The Invisible Fight” premiered on October 4th in Japan. After the premiere in Tokyo, in a buzzing and colourful Shinjuku district, Sarnet’s film remains in Japanese cinema distribution, shining on screens also in other cities of the island country. The film is distributed in Japan by @flag__global 💌 “Rainer’s previous film ‘November’ has a cult status among Japanese viewers, and those who have seen both ‘November’ and ‘The Invisible Fight’ have been amazed by the director’s versatility. Japanese audiences are drawn to Rainer’s unique world and story, and are particularly surprised that it’s based on real people. Some see it as a journey of self-discovery, some see it as a message of freedom, while many find themselves wanting to watch it again and again to absorb all the information and fully appreciate it. There are quite a few comments that mention how they appreciated these unique, yet very relatable characters.
