As of today, May 1, FL's six-week abortion ban will be imposed. Access to accurate info could literally change the course of someone's life. We must vote Yes on 4 in November to END this near-total abortion ban AND share resources for all who may need to access an abortion this year.
Shout out to our partners at Progress Florida for this information resource.

A 9-year-old found an unsecured gun and unintentionally shot a 5-year-old in the chest.
The child said he had gone into his father’s bedroom while looking for Pokémon pants and found a gun on the floor under the bed.
Call your Members of Congress (202) 224-3121 and urge them to cosponsor Ethan’s Law, to #KeepKidsSafe.

Protecting your children does not stop when they turn 18, when they move out, or especially not when they get checked into a Florida medical facility. The Florida Legislature disagrees - under Florida's Free Kill law, parents have no rights to hold doctors accountable if their child dies from medical negligence - if their child is unmarried, over 25, & without minor children.

Thanks so much to all who came out on Saturday for our post carding event! We had about 20 women show up to help get out 2500 reminders to sign up for vote by mail. We’ll be doing it again in June so look for that coming soon. 💪🙌 #votebymail #postcard #womeninspiringwomen #election @fl.now@nationalnow

Missing or Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit (MMIWG2S) is not a series of isolated tragedies, it is a systemic crisis rooted in colonial and patriarchal violence, white supremacy, and the erasure of Indigenous sovereignty. We honor Hanna Harris, Emily Pike, Sahela “Shy” Sangrait, Kelly Hunt, Megan Trussell, and the many other Native people whose lives have been stolen. Families and communities should not have to fight alone for justice. We stand with Indigenous organizers demanding truth, reparations, healing, and Land Back. ♥️🪶
People honor MMIWG2S by wearing red, attending marches and vigils, creating art, demanding action from elected officials, centering Indigenous voices, grieving together, raising awareness, and recommitting to the fight for justice.

We need your help with our Postcarding events to encourage women to sign up for Vote By Mail (VBM). We’re looking for as many members, friends, and the community to attend as possible. We’ll be tackling 2500 postcards on May 9 and another 2500 on June 13. Bring friends, neighbors, and family. Can’t do the full afternoon? Join us for an hour, two hours, whatever time you can give.
A federal appeals court has temporarily paused telehealth and mail-order access to mifepristone, a pill used for at-home medication abortions, nationwide.
It’s important to underscore that this does not mean abortion is banned in all of the U.S. You can still access abortion services. Find more information in the slides and at the bottom of this caption.
Mifepristone itself is not banned, but access has become significantly harder, especially for people in states where abortion is already restricted or unavailable.
For many, mail delivery has been the only way to access care at all. Now, some people in states with bans, severe restrictions or very few providers may be forced to travel out of state for care, something we know is often out of reach for those most impacted: parents who can’t leave their children, low-income workers who can’t afford time off, and those without the safety, financial, or community support to navigate this.
Access is still available by mail through the two community networks that support Florida (and other states).
This decision is not final. It’s a temporary stay while the broader legal challenge moves forward, and it could still be modified or reversed by higher courts, the FDA, or future rulings.

💗 There will likely be an increased need for travel support. If you’re able, consider donating to abortion funds supporting those most impacted. @abortionfunds
