NOFASD delivers a free, online, Support Group program for carers of a child who has FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) – either diagnosed or as yet unconfirmed.
If you are keen to learn more about FASD and connect with other carers who share similar concerns, joining this support group will meet both goals.
NOFASD Australia's next support group will commence in mid-May. To receive more information about this group, register your details at: .au/contact-us/ OR call NOFASD’s Helpline: 1 800 860 613.
🌟 World Care Day – Celebrating Every Journey 🌟
Today, we shine a light on the unique stories of young people in care. No two journeys are the same, and each one is filled with resilience, courage, and personal achievements. World Care Day is about celebrating their strength, their successes, and the paths they create for themselves.
At Foster and Kinship Carers Association NT, we are proud to stand with young people in care—listening to their voices, celebrating their milestones, and advocating for a future where every young person feels empowered, valued, and heard.
Let''s #SnapThatStigma and show the world the strength and potential of young people with a care experience 💜

This Children's Week, we join in recognising and advocating for every child's right to a clean, safe, and nurturing environment. At Foster and Kinship Carers Association NT, we believe that a supportive and stable home is the foundation for a child's well-being and development.
Our foster and kinship carers play a vital role in creating safe spaces where children can grow, learn, and thrive. It's not just about the physical environment—it's also about fostering a sense of belonging, security, and love. Together, we can ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential in a world that cares for their needs and respects their rights.
Let's continue to work hand in hand to create brighter, safer futures for the children in our community. Thank you to all our amazing carers for making a difference every day!

In recognition of National Child Protection Week 2024, we embrace the theme ‘Every Conversation Matters’. Conversations are more than just words; they’re tools for understanding, safety, and connection.
Foster and kinship carers engage in countless conversations that shape the lives of children and young people. Each discussion you have helps create a safer, more supportive environment for them.
Let’s celebrate the power of our voices and the positive change they can bring. Together, we can ensure every child in every community gets the fair go they deserve.
