Sandwiched between baby boomers and millennials, Gen X stood out of the norm, with some assimilating into subcultures like punk, grunge and new wave. 🤘
El Paso adopted these subcultures with a Mexican American twist, and born from the 1990s punk subculture was Fixed Idea — a band sprinkled with Gen Xers. 🇲🇽
From punk to Chuco Ska, El Paso’s longest original band keeps the scene fresh with their blended sounds of cumbia, oldies, ska, reggae and punk. 🎺
