“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.” – Jeremiah 29:11
A week ago, I graduated from The Howard University, where I spent the last four years conquering goals I once only imagined for myself.
This moment is more than a degree—it’s the realization of a dream I’ve carried since childhood, a journey marked by challenges, growth, and unwavering faith. Nursing school was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but also one of the most rewarding. Through every sleepless night, every clinical shift, and every exam, I kept my eyes on the purpose God placed in my heart: to become a pediatric nurse and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
Thank you, Howard, for not only shaping my path in nursing but also for allowing me to build lifelong relationships and discover the woman I am today.

After processing this great accomplish,
I can only give thanks to God. By his grace and mercy I’ve become the woman you see today. God’s favor is what help me get through these last 4 years. There has been many nights of doubts and fears. Yet God continues to instill the light in me, continuing to help me accomplish the goals I have set in my life. I hope that light God has helped me carried has been shown through every interaction on this campus.
Thank you God, for having me take this leap of faith and choosing Howard. Howard has truly been a blessing and brought many laughs and joy. I hope to continue to be a light in this world and start a new journey of more joy. Though this chapter is coming to an end, just know Im just getting started…

“ In the year 1911 four great men gazed upon the stars in which the aspirations of Omega began. With the humility of Edgar Amos Love, the dignity of Oscar James Cooper, the humbleness of Frank Charles Coleman and the pride of Ernest Everett Just, the greatest friendship known to man was born. 113 years later we stand proudly, drenched in royal purple and old gold, enjoying the fruits of their labor. Brothers, uphold and keep the tradition strong for you are the guiding light. Happy Founders’ Day Ques! 🔥”
