As we look forward to this year's Adobe Max, we'd like to look back at the incredible work our team at Pretty Damn Sweet had the pleasure of contributing to last year's show. Working alongside our amazing friends at Adobe and PIX Productions, PDS created a volume of vibrant motion design content you saw across the entire show: from the massive Main Stage opening film, to the richly detailed scenic background art during the keynote presentations, to the immersive media walls in the vibrant Creative Park. Drawing on inspiration from the show's key art, a tapestry of textures and playshapes created by the talented folks at Buck, Pretty Damn Sweet created an original opening film that energized the audience. With thousands of artists in attendance from all over the world, we wanted to showcase a variety of disciplines while paying homage to the creative power of Adobe’s tools in our central design story. Our film was process-driven, showcasing the tools and techniques of the digital journey of the makers. Bounding boxes, anchor points, characters made of design elements…this entire video was one big nod to the design process. Pretty Damn Sweet created a massive multi-screen media experience for Adobe’s 2023 MAX Conference at the Microsoft Theater in LA. In keeping with the process-based creative identity for the show, our film and scenic media centered around the craft of digital art and featured a variety of mixed-media components that swirled together into a wild journey into the creative process. With a resolution of over 12,000 x 4,000 pixels, we had to think a bit outside of the box to produce gorgeous moving art at that scale. Here's a sneak peek of a bit of our process and how we did it. El objetivo es tener la cabeza y el cuello alineados para que cuando esté acostado, su cuello no se incline en ninguna dirección.
