During the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, L’Avventura will host a two-day gathering dedicated to the state of Italian cinema, bringing together producers, filmmakers, distributors and industry professionals for a series of discussions and networking events. A round table moderated by Andrea Vailati of ArteSettima will address the current challenges facing Italian cinema following the absence of Italian feature films from the official selections of both Cannes and Berlin this year. Participants include Andrea Occhipinti of @luckyred , @random2romeo of @iwonderpictures , filmmaker @toto.donato , @beafiorentino artistic director of @settimana_della_critica , @stefano.centini of @volosfilms_ltd and @marco_______a of @dugong_films . The events will take place on May 15 and 16 in a private villa in Cannes and will include professional meetings, aperitivo gatherings and a private party at Vertigo Club (Skyfall).
